Basic Info BioI am cynical, hopeless romantic. Yes. There are a surprisingly large number of us. I counterbalance my completely lovely, normal existence by writing fan fic, throwing in lots of angst when I feel that someone needs to suffer, as I myself do very little suffering (except when I have a final coming up).
I have little to no understanding of the opposite sex, which I suspect is the case for most of my gender. This does not keep me from writing pieces from the male perspective.
I am an intensely private person about some things, while completely forthcoming about others. No one in my real life knows I write. Not one of them, and I've been doing this for almost a decade now. That's just how I roll.
I live an obsessive fanfic life. It started (embarrassingly) with Dawson's Creek. Those days are best forgotten. The X-Files, Alias, The West Wing, and Veronica Mars all followed before I found the BBC's new Robin Hood in the fall of 2006 and became a much more active writer.
I 'ship uncontrollably. If an older, authoritative male character is involved, I'm lost. Completely.
Basically, I'm just waiting for my Prince Charming to come and take me away. Preferably to Scotland.
